Some tips about our website, registering, and ordering....



*If you are a new store* and want to order from us:

1. Please go to our ordering portal and register for an account. You'll be able to get in and look around immediately.
2. Next, send us an email to let us know that you are a bonafide store and we'll send you our application.
3. Once we receive back the application and your business license, we'll switch your account to be wholesale and you will be able to see pricing and order from us.

So.... here's a little tip about that....

How about you go to our portal and register for a SECOND account. But you tell us you don't want to convert it to wholesale. The second account won't have pricing, but you'll be able to see everything! You can use that account to show your customers our papers and design them right there in front of them!!!

**ON THE SPOT**, they can approve of the paper design and you can place the order later.

#1808 Cork Board.... or is it????

We've talked about "No Color" and we're going to bring that into this conversation again, but we are ALSO going to show you some great variations on this one template that will show its extreme versatility! This template is WAY more than a cork board!!!

#1808 Cork Board - this is as the "thumbnail" shows this template currently...

So, you see it as a Grade School Cork Board page....

(Crimson, Crimson, Brown, Craft)

And that is great! But let's look at what else this template can do!!!!

 

 

What happens when you remove the border?

Same colors and theme but it's a bit more general. Maybe it's a higher grade.

Or an after school activity? Maybe it's ESS? Or....?

(Crimson, Crimson, No Color, Craft)

  

 

Change the topic and maybe the background is actually sand...

(Black, Black, No Color, Craft)

  

 

Change the color of the words and

maybe this template is about a beach?

(Blue, Blue, No Color, Craft)

 

 

Or maybe it's something else...

Maybe a High School? Or a Birthday? Or a Quinceanera?

What if it's a soccer team?
That could be a grassy background....

There is SO LITTLE out there for

25th Anniversary, so here is a great option for you!

 

 

Nothing for Text A

Text B is "25th Annivesary"

Text A is "No Color", Text B is "Silver"

Border is "Black", Background is "White"

 

 

This is basically the same but with "yellow gold"

Exploring #1801 Spirit Words

This has been the entry thumbnail to the Custom section of the website so let's take a look at what it can do!


This is a standard setup.... Yellow for the top and left words, Navy for the bottom and the background color is Silver. It shows the pattern of the words in the background that say things like "Victory" and "Power":

In this version, we chose a different color for the words at the bottom, but for the top and left, we actually kept the words, but chose "No Color". The remaining color is the "shadow" that is behind Midland High:

If you don't want the "Midland High" words, just don't put anything in the Text A Box:

 

 

 

If you don't want the "Spirit Words" in the background, just chose "No Color" for the background colors and then you can use the paper for other topics:

 

 

 

And then you can choose which words you want by putting words

in the Text A and/or Text B boxes:

Logging In

We have been getting lots of questions about logging into the site....

If you are a Store who has previously ordered from Scrappin' Sports & More, your ID and password have remained the same.

Also, all of your order history for the last two years is intact, so you can go back and see what you've ordered and reorder easily. We'll still need to get a new application from you, but you can login and order immediately.

Have you forgotten your ID and/or Password? I have most of them. Shoot me an email and I can let you know or we can reset your password if needed.

Friday, February 8th, we have our first conference call with the company who manages our website...

What does this mean for you?

Soon, you will see new changes on our website.

We have a lot of ideas about changes.... A few things that we are looking at:

• New colors
• New templates
• Reorganize templates to be in sections (Ie: School, Sports, General, etc)
• New thumbnails
• Possibly new paper sizes
• Etc

Color? Who needs color?!!!!

The importance of "No Color"

Did you know that it is a color choice on our templates??? And it can make a BIG difference!

This is something that we will be talking about a lot becuase it can really change the entire feel of a paper and completely change the use of a template.

We already showed you this one:

#1809-Custom Lockers

 

On the left is where the locker is silver, on the right it's "No Color" and the locker is gone:

 

 

And we showed you this one:

#914-Custom Flourish 3

 

On the left, the background is a color, making a texturized background.

On the right, the background is "No Color" making the background a solid white.

 

 

But check this one out:

#1810-Cheer

 

The left paper is clearly a cheerleading paper. The right paper is a paper for any sport!

On the right, again, the Pom Poms were made "No Color"

 

 

And look at this one:

#907-Custom Waves

 

The left one is a beach paper.

The right one is for ANYTHING!

Just make both waves "No Color" and choose your background color!

 

 

One more example:

#904-Custom Leather Grain

 

The left is regular.

In the middle, the border is "No Color".

On the right, both the border and the background are "No Color".

 

 

Like I said, we'll be playing around with this one a lot more but these hopefully will get you thinking about the diversity that these templates have!
