Huge Update!!!

WOW!!!

So much has been going on!!!

We went to Create-n-Connect - the Summer CHA show in Las Vegas. It is stated to be the last one, incidentally. If you want info on that, let me know and I can forward you the emails.

We met lots of great store owners and will do our drawing tomorrow and then let the winners know.

But don't forget, we still have our CHA specials through 8/31/13. If you didn't get our email about the discounts, let me know and I'll forward it to you!

Plus, remember that we were adding new colors? Well, we are slowly working them into our templates (every template needs to be manually edited to add the colors, so it does take a while).

Template #903:

We recently brought it back, but now it has been changed A BUNCH!!

You remember this thumbnail:

 

Well, now it has font options!!! Now you can change the font on both words. We have 5 choices currently, but we will be changing some of the fonts.

 

Here are the current fonts, separated so you can see how each would look:

 

Font Style: "Nasty"

 

Font Style: "Selfish"

 

 

Font Style: "Linotext"

 

 

Font Style: "Linoscript"

 

 

Font Style: "Snell Roundhand Bold"

 

 

And this template now has the 4 new colors as options: off white, seafrost, light sage, dark sage.

 

But we are loving the template for our local high schools in the "Nasty" font for the "background" word (aka "Summer") and no "Lovin' " word.

Sorry - this is a horrible thumbnail - we'll be changing it.

 

This template also has font choices!

Shelley, Snell, Linotext, Linoscript, and Selfish.

 

This template also has the new colors.

 

 

Phew!! And that's just a little bit about what has been going on here.... we have SO MUCH MORE in the works!!! We'll continue to add the new colors to the previous templates.

We are also working on adding new font options to existing templates. And font size options on some.

It's summertime!!!!

I don't know about where you are, but it is SWELTERING here!!!

Do you have a local water park? Splash Park? Or a popular local pool? Other water feature??
Or even just a pool activity either specific to your area or that you don't see made in "mainstream"?
Is "Marco Polo" a popular game in your 'hood?

 

Be aware of licensing issues, but maybe you can make a paper that is related to one of these ideas?

How do you use this paper??

Cart Management

Tom and I were discussing the system the other day and I realized that there is a chance that not everyone knows about creating a "saved" cart or how easy it is to reorder, so I thought I'd give a quick overview (definitely email me if you have questions!!!).

First of all, if you have Cookies enabled, you can create a cart and leave the system, and everything will stay in your cart.

BUT, say you have a standard "cast of characters" that you want to remember to order each time.  You can SAVE that set of items in a saved cart and just copy it out each time!

• Create the items that you want and put them in your cart
• At the bottom of the page, to the left of the green Checkout button, you will see a grey button that says "Save Cart":

• A Dialogue Box will open and it will ask you to "Select Cart". You can either choose one in your list already, or at the bottom of the lists of your carts, it will say "Create new cart..."
• The next choice is copy or move. If you click on move, you will move your cart to a saved cart.
• If you choose to create a new cart, wait until the bottom box changes to say "Name" (it sometimes takes a moment)

• Then enter the name you want and click "Assign List". If you use IE, watch for the circular arrow spinning to see that it's still thinking about it. But after that, if you look at the top, you will see your "Current" Cart tab (with the number of items in your cart) and to the right of it, your "Saved" Cart tab.
• If you click on Saved, there is a drop down list where you can select the cart you want.
• Once you are looking at them, you can click on the ones that you want to reorder and click "Add Selected to Cart" (at the bottom), or you can delete ones individually with the garbage can to the left of each line, or you can click mark a bunch and choose "Remove" at the bottom to get rid of several at once.

 

A couple of notes:

• Are backgrounds of the items on your list pink? That means that they are from an older version and they need to be updated to the current version (notice that they don't show the words used in the template)
• Do you want to delete a cart? There are a couple of ways to do it, but the easiest, IMO, is to open the cart, click the top clickmark box (the one that selects every item on the list) and click "Remove". Again, sometimes it takes a second or two, but then the list name will be gone (along with all of the items, so BE SURE that's what you want to do before you do it!!)

Some Ideas:

• Create a Saved Cart for items you want to make sure that you ALWAYS have in stock and call it "Always". Then, each time that you order, check on that cart and copy over items you need into your current basket.
• Create a Saved Cart for each of your high schools. Do you do a lot of different schools and reordering gets confusing? Create a Saved Cart for each school. While you might have a lot of different carts to review, you won't get schools confused.

If you called us in within the first couple of months that took over, you probably got a recorded message and had to leave a voicemail and wait for a call back. Often that call back was pretty quick because I had the voicemail texted to my phone...

BUT! If you've called in lately, you were asked to announce your name and wait a moment while we are reached.

That is because we've upgraded our system so that our phone system will actually track us down!!! When you call, the system searches for us and tries to reach us wherever we may be so that we can answer your call right away!!!

If, for some reason, it can't reach us, then it will go to voicemail and still text me that you called so that we can get back to you ASAP!
